Cherry is a premium American hardwood prized for its natural luster, attractive grain, and rich, warm glow. Green Design Furniture works in cherry harvested from the Allegheny Forest region of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, an area recognized for its sustainable forest practices. This wood has a consistently high quality of grain, color, and width. We also accept orders to make our furniture in other domestic hardwoods, including ash, maple, white oak, and walnut. Until the worldwide rainforest situation improves, we have elected not to work with imported woods. Cherry’s Aging Process
